How the $25 gift works
It is Paloma’s money on your balance — not a loan and not a trial that ends; there is nothing to pay back. Spend it on any feature, at the same prices as later. You pay only when you decide to add money — or, if you use couriers, by the card you attach for them.

What a month can look like

Adding funds
On the Balance screen in the app, by card on a payment page hosted by Stripe. There are no automatic top-ups. A business connected through our Clover App Market app cannot add funds yet.

What happens at $0
- The balance never goes below zero, and nothing is charged on credit.
- Features that use AI pause until you add funds.
- New calls go to your business phone number set in the app; if none is set, callers are told where to order online.
- Your ordering pages, website, checkout, Paloma number and texts to your guests keep working.
- A social account whose month is paid keeps posting; one whose month could not be paid on the 1st holds its posts for up to 7 days, until you add funds.
- If your couriers are paid from the balance and it cannot cover one, your page offers pickup only until you add funds.
Prices and limits
The main limits of every account and the price list the balance is charged by; the Terms list every price.
There is no plan and no monthly fee. AI and texts are paid from a prepaid balance by our price list: $0.22 a minute of a call Paloma answers ($0.24 on a toll-free number; by the second, at least a minute a call — calls transferred to your own number are free), $0.16 an answer from Paloma in the app, $0.012 a minute of voice input, $0.025 a text segment to a guest, $0.01 a picture of a dish or product, $0.02 a banner and $0.40 an atmosphere video (one AI clip of up to 8 seconds, never cut together from several; a 6- or 8-second one you ask for counts as two; Google limits AI video for all businesses together, so each business has a daily share of 8 videos, one request to Google each); the daily brief ($0.007), menu translations ($0.01 per 1,000 characters per language) and the rest of the background work are priced in the Terms. A business that was with Paloma before October 7, 2026, or that someone who already had a business with Paloma adds later, pays the earlier list until October 20, 2026: $0.12 a minute of a call ($0.13 on a toll-free number), $0.12 an answer, $0.01 a minute of voice input, $0.02 a text segment, $0.30 an atmosphere video (a 6- or 8-second one counts as two), $0.005 the daily brief and $0.007 per 1,000 characters of translation; a picture and a banner cost the same. From October 20, 2026, the same balance also pays $7 a month for each connected social account and $2.30 a month for a local Paloma number ($4.30 toll-free). Couriers are charged Paloma’s delivery price shown on the order and your guest’s tip, which goes to the courier in full; a courier cancelled before pickup costs nothing. From October 14, 2026, a business whose guests pay through Clover or Square pays for couriers with a card it attaches in the app, and without a card its ordering page offers pickup only. Social accounts and numbers are paid a month in advance: when you connect, only for the days left in that month, then on the 1st of each month. Disconnect anytime and nothing more is charged; a month already paid is not refunded. The first business you add gets a one-time $25 welcome credit when it is activated: by itself, as soon as you confirm your email and your mobile number, or by an install from the Clover App Market. The credit is once per account: businesses you add after that start at $0, and joining someone else’s team does not use yours. AI, paid services and adding funds open with activation. A business connected through our app in the Clover App Market never pays us by card, cannot add funds yet and, for now, takes pickup orders only (see Help). Terms §3.
Questions about paying
Is there a monthly fee or a plan?
No. There is no plan and no subscription. You pay from your balance for what Paloma does; a social account ($7 a month) and a Paloma number ($2.30 a month) are charged a month ahead only if you connect them.
Do I need a card to start?
No. A card is needed only to add funds, and from October 14, 2026 for couriers if your guests pay through Clover or Square.
How far does $25 go?
For example, about 55 two-minute calls or 1,000 texts to guests. A business that was with Paloma before October 7, 2026 pays the earlier prices until October 20, 2026, at which $25 is about 100 calls or 1,250 texts. Spent across features, it goes as far as what you ask for.
I am adding a second business. Does it get $25 too?
No. The welcome credit is once per account: businesses you add later start at $0 and you add funds when you need them.
Where do I see what I spent?
In the app: every charge is listed, and the price is shown before anything is charged.
