Help
Support: support@palomaceo.ai. Typical reply within one business day; pilots get a direct line.
Owners and managers already using Paloma: tell her “I need help”, or press Get help on the Business screen: she fixes what she can and passes the rest to our team, whose answer comes to your Inbox.
Getting started
How do I get an account?
Sign up in the app with your email or your Google account and add your business. Your business is activated as soon as you confirm your email address — with the link in our email, or by signing in with Google — and your own mobile number, with a code we text you (US and Canadian numbers; how we use it). The assistant, calls, texts, online orders and paid services open then, and the welcome credit of the first business you add arrives with activation; a business connected through our app in the Clover App Market is activated by the install itself (see below). Until then you can connect Clover or Square and preview your page, which takes no orders yet. Can’t confirm one of them? Tap “Get help” in the app and the Paloma team can activate your business. We may decline a business we cannot verify; the app then shows how to ask us what we need. Rather be set up with us? Send the request form at the foot of this page.
What does it cost?
There is no plan and no monthly fee, and every feature is included, with these account limits: up to 10,000 questions to Paloma, 1,000 calls and 5,000 voice minutes a month, up to 20 locations, and call recordings kept 30 days. AI and texts are paid from a prepaid balance by our price list — $0.22 a minute of a call the assistant answers ($0.24 on a toll-free number; by the second, at least a minute a call; calls transferred to your own number are free), $0.16 an answer from the assistant in the app, $0.012 a minute of voice input, $0.025 a text segment to a guest, $0.01 a picture of a dish or product, $0.02 a banner, $0.40 an atmosphere video (one AI clip of up to 8 seconds, never cut together from several; a 6- or 8-second one you ask for counts as two; Google limits AI video for all businesses together, so each business has a daily share of 8 videos, one request to Google each), and fractions of a cent for background work such as the daily brief ($0.007) — and the first business you add gets a one-time $25 welcome credit when it is activated; the credit is once per account, so businesses you add later start at $0, and joining someone else’s team does not use yours (Terms, section 3, lists every price). A business that was with Paloma before October 7, 2026, or that someone who already had a business with Paloma adds later, pays the earlier list until October 20, 2026: $0.12 a minute of a call the assistant answers ($0.13 on a toll-free number), $0.12 an answer from the assistant in the app, $0.01 a minute of voice input, $0.02 a text segment to a guest, $0.30 an atmosphere video (a 6- or 8-second one counts as two) and $0.005 the daily brief; a picture and a banner cost the same. From October 20, 2026, the same balance also pays for paid services: $7 a month for each connected social account and $2.30 a month for a local Paloma number ($4.30 toll-free). Couriers are charged Paloma's delivery price shown on the order and your guest's tip, which goes to the courier in full; a courier cancelled before pickup costs nothing. From October 14, 2026, a business whose guests pay through Clover or Square pays for couriers with a card it attaches in the app, and without a card its ordering page offers pickup only. Social accounts and numbers are paid a month in advance: to connect one, your balance needs to cover the days left in that month; after that it is paid on the 1st of each month. If the balance falls short on the 1st, an unpaid account stays connected but does not post until you add funds, and your number keeps working. Disconnect anytime and nothing more is charged; a month already paid is not refunded. The app shows each price, and what is due now, before you turn a service on, and lists every charge.
How do I add funds, and what happens at zero?
Add funds on the Balance screen in the app, on a payment page hosted by Stripe. If your business is connected through our app in the Clover App Market, you never pay us by card: anything you pay Paloma for goes only through your Clover bill, and adding funds that way is not available yet, so your balance is your welcome credit, if your business got one (see below; Terms, section 3). We tell you in the app when your balance runs low and when it reaches zero. The balance never goes below zero. At zero, features that use AI pause until you add funds, and new calls go to your business phone number set in the app — if none is set, callers are told where to order online. Your ordering pages, website, checkout, Paloma number and texts to your guests keep working; if your couriers are paid from the balance and it cannot cover one, your ordering pages offer pickup only until you add funds; couriers paid with a card do not depend on the balance.
How do I connect my point of sale?
Square: press “Connect Square” in the app and approve the permissions once. Clover: our app is in Clover's App Market review. Once it is listed, install PalomaCEO.ai from the Clover App Market and open it: the install connects Clover by itself, with no keys to copy, and activates your business. Until then, you connect with keys from your own Clover Merchant Dashboard, which takes about ten minutes and the app shows each step — a merchant API token (Settings → View all settings → Business Operations → API tokens) for your menu, sales and orders, and, for payment links, an Ecommerce private key (Clover asks for a verification code) and the Hosted Checkout webhook secret. Without the last two, phone orders are paid at pickup. The Clover page lists the permissions and why each is needed. Tell Paloma “help me connect my point of sale” and she walks you through it. Either way, she reads your menu, hours and sales within a few minutes.
I installed Paloma from the Clover App Market. What do I get, and what does it cost?
Paloma is free in the Clover App Market: Clover bills you nothing for it, and we never charge you by card. When you open it from your Clover dashboard, the sign-up arrives filled in with your name, email and business name from Clover; you can change any of them. Once you create your login, Clover is connected and the install activates your business — with a one-time $25 welcome credit if it is the first business you add on Paloma (one per account). The credit pays for what uses AI — the calls the assistant answers, its answers in the app, texts to your guests — and, from October 20, 2026, paid services such as your Paloma number, at the prices the app shows before anything is charged (Terms, section 3). Anything you pay Paloma for goes only through your Clover bill, and adding funds that way is not available yet: when the credit runs out, the features that use AI pause and new calls go to your business phone number set in the app. Your guests pay on Clover Hosted Checkout, into your Clover account. For now, orders are for pickup only: we do not book couriers for a business on our Clover app. The one setup step outside the app is forwarding your phone line, or only the calls you miss, to your Paloma number; the app shows the codes for your carrier.
How do I uninstall Paloma from Clover, and what happens?
In your Clover dashboard open the App Market, find PalomaCEO.ai under your apps and uninstall it. Paloma stops using your Clover account as soon as Clover confirms the uninstall to us; to stop it at once, press Disconnect in Paloma (Connectors) before you uninstall. If Clover was the only point of sale connected to your business, the business and its data are deleted 30 days after that; install Paloma again within those 30 days and sign in, and your business comes back as it was (Privacy Policy, section 11). Uninstalling does not delete orders already in Clover.
What should I set up first?
The checklist on the Business screen shows what is left and who does it; ask Paloma “what is left?” and answer her in your own words. It covers the assistant’s name, default language, what happens when a caller asks for a person, whether you take pickup and delivery orders, and your hours and phone if your POS does not have them. Then tell Paloma a policy, for example “remember: parking is free after 6 pm”.
How do calls reach Paloma?
Tap “Get a number” under Phone on the Connectors screen, or ask Paloma: she gets a local number for your business. Then forward the calls nobody answers, or that find your line busy, to it — the app shows the codes for your carrier — and tell Paloma how it is set. To give the number up, release it in the app or ask Paloma and confirm in your Inbox; turn off forwarding first.
Calls and orders
Will guests know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. Paloma says so in the first sentence. When a caller asks for a person, Paloma hands the call to your team if you set a transfer number in Settings; otherwise it takes a message and flags the call in your Inbox.
How does the guest pay?
They receive a text with a payment link that opens a Clover- or Square-hosted page, depending on your POS. Card numbers are never taken by voice. If a guest has no mobile number, the order is placed for payment at pickup.
Where does the order go?
Into your POS as a regular order; on Clover it prints on your default order printer; on Square it follows your Square settings for online orders.
What if Paloma gets it wrong?
Every order is read back and confirmed before it is placed. You see the call card in the Inbox and can fix the order in your POS.
Can Paloma hold an item for a customer?
For shops, yes: the item is taken out of Clover stock until the pickup deadline and put back if nobody comes.
Can guests order through Claude?
Yes, from businesses that take online orders with Paloma, such as Kalinka. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it PalomaCEO.ai and paste https://order.palomaceo.ai/mcp; no account or sign-in is needed. Then ask, for example, “order a syrnik for pickup at Kalinka”. Claude reads the live menu and prices from the business’s register, prices a delivery to your address, reads back your order, the total before tax, your name and mobile number (and for delivery the address, fee and tip), and places the order only after you say yes. It gives you the order’s page with a Pay button that opens the business’s own secure payment page; you enter your card only on that page, never in the chat. The business may text you about your order at the number you gave. Ask “where is my order?” any time. The business is the seller; our Guest Terms and Privacy Policy apply.
Marketing
Can Paloma post for me?
It is rolling out to pilots now: posts to your Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Threads, drafted from your menu and photos. You connect each account with that network’s own sign-in, and nothing is published without your approval in the app. Where a network has not yet approved our own app, accounts connect through Zernio, a publishing service we use, so its name is on the sign-in screen; once the network approves our app, the app offers one Connect that moves such an account to it at the same monthly price (Privacy Policy, section 8). From October 20, 2026, each account you connect costs $7 a month from your balance, as described above; accounts you do not connect cost nothing. See AI Marketing on the home page.
Can Paloma answer my Google reviews?
Yes: each reply is a card with Paloma’s draft, you can change the words, and it goes on Google only when you, the owner, approve it. If you turn it on, the page of each order placed through Paloma asks every guest, in the same words, for an honest review on Google — never only happy guests, and nothing is offered for it.
Data and privacy
Do you use our data to train AI?
No. Your Clover or Square data and your call recordings are used only to serve you.
How long are recordings kept?
30 days. You can listen to a recording from the call card in the app; after the period the audio is deleted automatically and the transcript stays. Deletion on request at any time.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes. Export is one tap in Settings; deleting the business stops Paloma's use of your POS at once, erases all data after 30 days and then withdraws Paloma's access at the apps you connected wherever they allow it, with the option to restore in between (details).

Prefer we set it up with you?
You can start on your own in the app. If you would rather set Paloma up together with us, or hear it on your own menu first, tell us who you are and we will write back. It is free.
