Rolling out

Three tablets on the counter. Nobody re-typing.

Sound familiar? “An Uber Eats tablet, a DoorDash tablet, a Grubhub tablet — and someone re-typing every order into the register.”

Paloma brings Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub orders into the Clover or Square you already run. They print in your kitchen — or, on Square, show on your kitchen display — next to your own orders; the app hears “accepted” only once the ticket is in your POS, and Paloma tells you what came in — no one re-types an order. Keep every app tablet where your staff can reach it.

How it works

  1. Connect the location

One tap in the app. Paloma registers your restaurant with the delivery service it works with.

  2. Link your app stores

You sign in to your Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub stores once, in that service’s dashboard.

  3. Orders print themselves

Each order goes into your POS with its own order type on Clover, so your reports split them by app.

  4. Ask Paloma

“What came in from DoorDash tonight?”, “plus 15 minutes on the apps” — answers and prep time on request.

Rolling out

Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub, straight into your POS

Nobody re-typing orders. Delivery-app orders print in your kitchen next to your own, in the Clover or Square you already run.

  • It prints by itself

The app hears “accepted” only once the ticket is in your POS. An order that could not get in comes to you as a card, with the minutes left to decide.

  • Slammed? Add time

“Plus 15 minutes on the apps” — Paloma adds prep time on every marketplace and takes it off at the end of your day.

  • Ask what came in

“What came in from DoorDash tonight?” — the orders, their numbers and what has to be ready by when.

Switched on location by location: you link your Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub stores once, through the delivery service Paloma works with. On Clover each app gets its own order type, so your reports split them. Each app’s commission stays between you and the app.

Plus 15 minutes on the apps, we’re slammed.

Done — 15 more minutes on Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub. It comes off by itself at close.

What is live, what is rolling out

  • Rolling out

Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub in your POS

Marketplace orders print in your Clover or Square next to your own. Ask Paloma what came in, and when the kitchen is slammed, say the word and she adds prep time on the apps.

  • Live

    No order slips by

Every order pings your phone and, if you like, your team’s Telegram group. Any tablet in your kitchen can be Paloma’s order screen: each new order rings on it until someone accepts it, and if nobody does in 3 minutes, your phone hears about it. It opens nothing but orders and the stop list; the delivery apps’ own tablets stay on as before. On Clover, a ticket that did not print raises an alert with Print again.

Questions

Is it on for everyone?

We are switching it on location by location, so the chip says Rolling out.

Do the apps still take their commission?

Yes — each app’s commission stays between you and the app. Your own ordering site has none.

What if an order can’t get into the POS?

It comes to you as a card with the minutes left to decide: accept it and key it in, or reject it. Nobody deciding means it is rejected at its deadline.

Can Paloma pause my store on the apps?

No — the delivery service gives no way to do that. Paloma can add prep time on every app and cancel an open order you name.

All features

Try it on your own business

Nothing to pay to start — no card, no subscription: your first business gets $25 on its balance as a gift when it is activated. Sign up, connect Clover or Square, and see it on your menu.

Prefer we set it up with you?

You can start on your own in the app. If you would rather set Paloma up together with us, or hear it on your own menu first, tell us who you are and we will write back. It is free.

Thank you — we have your request and will write to you at the address you gave.
